Mirror Type Applique

Mirror Type Applique is a linear LED luminaire designed to mount above bathroom and washbasin mirrors. Mirror lighting carries a requirement of its own: the light must fall on the face evenly and without shadow. Light from the ceiling leaves shadows under the eyes and chin, while light delivered from just above the mirror illuminates the face in balance; in shaving, make-up and personal care that difference is felt directly.

The product is manufactured in four codes. PL5U11L15C opens the range at 8 W and 750 lm in 340 mm; PL5U12L15C gives 14 W and 1,485 lm at 620 mm, PL5U13L15C 21 W and 2,225 lm at 900 mm, and PL5U14L15C 26 W and 2,965 lm at 1181 mm. Body width is 104 mm and height 60 mm; weight ranges from 1.3 kg to 2.4 kg. Efficacy sits in a band of roughly 94 to 114 lm/W.

Lengths running from 340 mm to 1181 mm answer mirror widths from a small single-basin bathroom to a wide double-basin one. The body is aluminium in an elegant design, offered in white, silver and black. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type.
