Asymmetric Recessed

Asymmetric Recessed is the flush-mounted variant of the asymmetric optic. It offers the same distribution as the surface model — light thrown to one side, toward the wall — but integrates with the ceiling plane. That delivers the wall-washing effect without the luminaire showing: only a fine slot reads on the ceiling, the source is not perceived, and the brightness on the wall takes the foreground.

The product is manufactured in thirteen codes. Lengths are 861, 1141, 1422, 1710, 1999, 2280, 2560 and 2837 mm. Lengths up to 1999 mm carry two LED densities: the standard L15C and the denser L25C. PL15A13L15C opens the range at 21 W and 2,055 lm; PL15A17L25C reaches the highest output at 70 W and 7,210 lm. Body width is 88 mm and height 93 mm; weight ranges from 1.7 kg to 4.5 kg.

At a given power it delivers markedly more flux than the surface model: at 70 W the surface type gives 5,005 lm while the recessed reaches 7,210 lm. The reason is that a recessed arrangement lets the optic sit within a deeper body.

The aluminium body is offered in white and silver; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours.
