Galaksi Dolunay Direct / Indirect

Galaksi Dolunay Direct/Indirect adds a second, upward component to the disc-form Dolunay body. Direct and indirect wattages are listed independently: PL8ESD36K12C at 16/10 W delivers 1,740 lm downward and 1,170 lm upward. The largest type, PL8ESD120K14C at 243/35 W, carries those figures to 27,945 lm and 3,900 lm.

The product is manufactured in fifteen codes across five diameters: 360, 470, 600, 900 and 1200 mm. Each diameter is offered in three direct steps while the indirect component stays fixed per diameter: 1,170 lm at 360 mm, 1,560 lm at 470 mm, 1,950 lm at 600 mm, 3,120 lm at 900 mm and 3,900 lm at 1200 mm. That arrangement holds the fill light on the ceiling steady while the downward illuminance is varied. Body height is 94 mm; weight ranges from 3.1 kg to 9.3 kg.

Because the upward light bounces off the ceiling and spreads through the room, the disc body does not read as a dark mass, which is the deciding difference in hotel lobbies and executive floors where the luminaire hangs close to eye level. The body is anodised aluminium with a satin finish, offered in white and black. LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules are rated at 60,000 hours, with an ENEC-compliant constant current converter. The suspension uses 1 mm steel wire rope and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, hotel lobbies, reception areas, open-plan offices, restaurants and cafés, conference halls and executive floors.
