Galaksi Freedom

Galaksi Freedom is not a single luminaire but a pendant system assembled from parts. Arc and straight modules join end to end to form circles, half circles, waves or free-drawn runs. The name follows from that: the ceiling layout need not conform to a predetermined shape, the shape is built to suit the project.

The system comprises four main module families. The 180° arcs are offered in ten steps from PL8S180F3L15C to PL8S180F16L15C, opening at 21 W and 2,225 lm and reaching 105 W and 11,856 lm, with diameters from 620 mm to 2950 mm. The 90° arcs cover nine steps between 14 and 66 W and 1,485 to 7,410 lm. The 45° arcs give 8 to 33 W and 745 to 3,705 lm across five steps. Straight modules carry the PL8SLF code and are produced in ten lengths from 282 mm to 2810 mm. Seven further special parts are prepared for circle, triangle, clover and corner junctions. Body width is 79 mm and height 89 mm; weight ranges from 1.5 kg to 8.6 kg.

The practical value of a modular build is that one product family resolves both a small meeting room and a tall lobby. The aluminium body is offered in white and black, with LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and an ENEC-compliant constant current converter. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, hotel lobbies, reception areas, restaurants and cafés, showrooms, exhibition and fair halls and conference halls.
