Galaksi O Direct / Indirect

Galaksi O Direct/Indirect is a ring-form LED pendant that emits light both downward and upward. What separates it from the other O models is that the two components are driven separately: on the PL8ESO types the direct and indirect wattages are listed independently. The smallest type, PL8ESO6L15C at 39/18 W, delivers 3,880 lm downward and 1,950 lm upward; on the largest type, PL8ESO20L15C at 132/55 W, those figures rise to 14,630 lm and 6,240 lm.

The product is manufactured in seven diameters: 620, 800, 980, 1155, 1335, 1500 and 1890 mm. Body width is 79 mm and height 73 mm. Weight ranges from 3.9 kg to 11.3 kg, noticeably lighter than the single-direction models of the same diameter. Because the upward component bounces off the ceiling and fills the room, contrast drops in offices and meeting rooms where people work at screens, and the ring itself stops reading as a dark silhouette overhead.

The aluminium body is offered in white and black. The light source is LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours, driven by a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current converter. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop, supplied with a transparent power cable and a ceiling-mounted junction box of considered design.
