Galaksi O Textile Acoustic

Galaksi O Textile Acoustic brings lighting and sound absorption together in a single body. The face of the ring carries textile-covered acoustic material, so the luminaire does more than deliver light: it shortens reverberation time in the volume beneath it. In open-plan offices, meeting rooms and tall spaces with hard surfaces, speech intelligibility improves directly.

The product is manufactured in seventeen types. Power runs from 26 W to 221 W and luminaire output flux from 2,585 lm to 24,150 lm. Diameters are 447, 620, 800, 980, 1155, 1335, 1500, 1890 and 2070 mm, with two drive levels, L15C and L25C, from 620 mm upward. Body width is 79 mm and height 73 mm; weight ranges from 5.1 kg to 19.2 kg. Because the light figures match Galaksi O Direct exactly, rooms that need acoustic treatment and rooms that do not can be resolved on one lighting calculation.

Beyond its acoustic performance the textile covering presents a soft face and can be matched to the interior palette through colour selection. The carrier body is aluminium, offered in white and black, with LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and an ENEC-compliant constant current converter. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop.
