Galaksi S

Galaksi S is an LED pendant that draws a curved wave rather than a straight line. It offers an alternative to both the ring and the linear form: it keeps the continuity of a run while leaving a moving line on the ceiling. In tall lobbies, reception areas and open-plan offices the luminaire reads as an architectural element in its own right.

The product is manufactured in ten codes across two geometries: two-curve types (PL8SS2x) and three-curve types (PL8SS3x). In the two-curve group PL8SS23L15C gives 39 W and 4,450 lm at 1570 mm, while PL8SS25L25C reaches 100 W and 11,115 lm at 2620 mm. In the three-curve group PL8SS33L15C gives 60 W and 6,075 lm at 2360 mm, and PL8SS34L25C 120 W and 13,340 lm at 3095 mm. Every length is offered in two LED densities, L15C and L25C. Body width is 79 mm and height 82 mm; weight ranges from 3.9 kg to 7.9 kg.

Efficacy sits in a band of roughly 101 to 114 lm/W. The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, living rooms, waiting lounges, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, hotel lobbies, reception areas, open-plan offices, restaurants and cafés, bank branches and public buildings.
