Galaksi Square

Galaksi Square is the quadrilateral form of the Dolunay family. It presents a square or rectangular face rather than a circle, which makes it straightforward to align the luminaire with the architectural grid, ceiling tiles and rectangular furniture layouts. It suits projects that want a defined geometry in place of the softness of round forms.

The product is manufactured in thirteen codes across two size families. The narrow family is 300 mm wide, paired with lengths of 300, 600, 900 and 1140 mm; the wider family covers the 600x600 and 900x900 mm squares. The smallest type, PL8SDK12E04C, gives 14 W and 1,470 lm at 300x600 mm; the largest, PL8SDK33E06C, gives 125 W and 13,245 lm at 900x900 mm. The 600x600 and 900x900 sizes each carry three steps: at 900x900, for instance, 62 W, 89 W and 125 W are available. Body height is 97 mm across every type; weight ranges from 3.5 kg to 7.5 kg.

The presence of narrow, elongated types shows the product works not only as a square mass but also over long tables and counters. The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, low-power, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, living rooms, waiting lounges, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, reception areas, showrooms, restaurants and cafés, bank branches and executive floors.
