Optimum Suspended

Optimum Suspended is a linear LED pendant on which length and output step are chosen independently. The range is built on two axes: eight lengths crossed with three output steps give twenty-four separate types. The C02C, C03C and C04C suffixes mark those levels, so illuminance can be set at three different points while the body length stays the same.

Lengths are 675, 895, 1115, 1334, 1554, 1774, 1994 and 2214 mm. The smallest type, PL17S9C02C, gives 15 W and 1,445 lm; in the same 675 mm body PL17S9C04C reaches 26 W and 2,320 lm. In the largest body at 2214 mm the levels run from 48 W and 4,795 lm to 86 W and 7,720 lm. Body width is 57 mm and height 85 mm; weight ranges from 1.9 kg to 4.7 kg. Efficacy sits in a band of roughly 90 to 101 lm/W.

Choosing on two axes is a real convenience on projects where the ceiling layout stays fixed but room types vary: a corridor and a meeting room can take the same length of luminaire with only the step changing. The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, living rooms, waiting lounges, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, open-plan offices, universities, libraries, bank branches and clinics. Dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit are optional; UGR<19 glare control and CRI 90 colour rendering can also be supplied on request.
