Recessed Back Light T Bar Ceiling

Recessed Back Light T-Bar Ceiling is an LED panel that drops straight into a grid suspended ceiling. Because its dimensions follow the standard ceiling module, no separate cut-out or frame is required; the luminaire takes the place of a ceiling tile and speeds installation considerably.

A back-lit arrangement places the LEDs behind the panel so the light passes through a reflective surface before it spreads. That produces an even brightness across the emitting face and prevents individual LEDs from being picked out; the dimmer centre seen on edge-lit panels disappears.

The product is manufactured in eleven codes across sizes of 293x293, 293x593, 293x1193, 593x593 and 593x1193 mm. The smallest type, PL11A11E06C, gives 14 W and 1,500 lm; the largest, PL11A24E06C, reaches 112 W and 9,835 lm. Body height is just 60 mm across every type, an advantage where the ceiling void is shallow. Weight ranges from 2.5 kg to 6.0 kg.

The body is electrostatically powder-coated sheet metal; the converter is a long-life, low-power type compliant with ENEC standards. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. The product page carries a separate LDT file for each type.
