Recessed İndirect

Recessed Indirect is a flush-mounted LED luminaire that distributes light by reflection rather than sending it straight down. The practical value of that arrangement is glare control: because the source is not seen directly, someone working at a screen who glances up does not meet an uncomfortable brightness. In open-plan offices and classrooms, where eyes travel to the ceiling often, that makes a marked difference in comfort.

The product is manufactured in two codes. PL11EA22L15C gives 26 W and 2,810 lm, and PL11EA22L25C 41 W and 4,210 lm. Both measure 594x594 mm at 80 mm high, weighing 3.7 and 3.8 kg. At 594 mm the luminaire sits in the standard 600 mm ceiling module, so it drops into an existing grid without further work.

The step between the two powers is roughly fifty per cent more light, which makes it possible to answer both a corridor and a work area with the same body size. By the nature of the indirect arrangement it gives less flux at a given power than a direct model; visual comfort is what it returns in exchange.

The body is electrostatically powder-coated sheet metal; the converter is a long-life, low-power type compliant with ENEC standards. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. Suitable for offices, meeting rooms, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, open-plan offices, universities, libraries and conference halls. Dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit are optional; UGR<19 glare control and CRI 90 colour rendering can also be supplied on request.
