Simetri Slim Direct-Indirect Suspended

Simetri Slim Direct-Indirect is a slim-section linear LED pendant that emits light both downward and upward. What sets the range apart is that the two components are driven separately: on the PL21ES types the direct and indirect wattages are listed independently. The smallest type, PL21ES21L15C at 14/8 W, delivers 1,445 lm downward and 665 lm upward; the largest, PL21ES109L15C at 66/60 W, carries those figures to 7,220 lm and 5,985 lm.

Body width is just 40 mm and height 76 mm. That section is remarkably narrow among luminaires emitting in both directions, since two-way optics usually call for a bulkier body. Lengths are 570, 850, 1130, 1410, 1693, 1973, 2254, 2534 and 2815 mm, with two LED densities, L15C and L25C, up to 1973 mm. Weight ranges from 1.4 kg to 5.3 kg.

The upward component bounces off the ceiling and fills the room; contrast drops in offices and meeting rooms where people work at screens, and the luminaire itself stops reading as a dark line overhead. The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, living rooms, waiting lounges, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, open-plan offices, executive floors, universities, libraries and clinics.
