Sterile Recessed

Sterile Recessed is a flush-mounted LED luminaire for hygiene-critical spaces. It shares the sealing arrangement of the indirect model — 4 mm certified tempered glass and a thermoplastic elastomer seal — but sends its light straight down. That answers to consulting rooms and operating theatres, where high illuminance is needed on the working plane.

The product is manufactured in thirteen codes across sizes of 316x316, 316x616, 316x916, 316x1216, 616x616 and 616x1165 mm. The smallest type, PL12A11E06C, gives 14 W and 1,205 lm; the largest, PL12A24E06C, reaches 112 W and 9,100 lm. Intermediate sizes carry two or three power steps: the 616x616 mm body offers 36 W, 42 W and 56 W. Body height is 85 mm across every type; weight ranges from 2.5 kg to 16.0 kg.

The breadth of that size range lets the different rooms of a healthcare building be resolved with one product family: a consulting room takes the 316x616 mm type and an operating theatre the 616x1165 mm, while the ceiling reads consistently throughout. The tempered glass face withstands regular disinfectant cleaning.

The body is electrostatically powder-coated sheet metal; the converter is a long-life, low-loss type compliant with ENEC standards. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM, NICHIA and SEOUL are rated at 60,000 hours. Suitable for patient rooms, operating theatres, consulting rooms, intensive care units, laboratories, sterile production areas, pharmaceutical plants and food production areas.
