Vega Lounge

Vega Lounge is an LED pendant built from arms opening outward from a centre. Rather than a closed frame it draws a figure close to a star; because the space between the arms stays open, the luminaire leaves a light, permeable silhouette on the ceiling. As the name suggests, it is conceived for seating and relaxation areas: hotel lobbies, café seating groups and waiting lounges answer that description.

The product is manufactured in three codes. PL7SYL33L15CS gives 39 W and 4,390 lm at 525 mm, PL7SYL63L15CS 60 W and 6,585 lm at 806 mm, and PL7SYL66L15CS 79 W and 8,780 lm at 1086 mm. Arm width is 70 mm across every type and body height 90 mm; weight ranges from 4.1 kg to 8.1 kg. Efficacy sits in a band of roughly 110 to 113 lm/W.

Taken together, the measured power band and the open geometry make the product's position clear: not the large volumes that call for high illuminance, but areas where atmosphere leads and the luminaire gives the space its character. Hanging several units at varying heights builds a composition. The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, living rooms, waiting lounges, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, hotel lobbies, restaurants and cafés, reception areas and showrooms.
