Vega Y Suspended

Vega Y Suspended is a three-armed LED pendant that takes its name from the letter it forms. Arms opening from the centre at 120-degree intervals combine the absence of direction of a circle with the reach of a linear run: the line travels in three directions at once without closing into a frame. Hung in groups, the arms complete one another into a honeycomb-like pattern, which makes it possible to build a repeating order across broad ceiling surfaces.

The product is manufactured in four codes. PL7SY22L15C gives 39 W and 4,390 lm at 870x994 mm, PL7SY33L15C 60 W and 6,585 lm at 1267x1472 mm, PL7SY44L15C 79 W and 8,780 lm at 1663x1951 mm, and PL7SY55L15C 99 W and 10,975 lm at 2060x2430 mm. Arm width keeps the 70 mm profile of the range; body height is 90 mm across every type and weight ranges from 4.3 kg to 10.5 kg. Efficacy sits in a band of roughly 111 to 113 lm/W.

The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop, supplied with a transparent power cable and a ceiling-mounted junction box of considered design. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, living rooms, waiting lounges, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, hotel lobbies, open-plan offices, reception areas, exhibition and fair halls and showrooms.
